What is homeopathy?
Homeopathy is a gentle, holistic system of healing, suitable for everyone, young and old. It works equally well with animals. Homeopathy focuses on you as an individual, concentrating on treating your specific physical and emotional symptoms to give long lasting benefits.
The therapy is based on the theory of treating “like with like”. Homeopathic remedies are highly diluted natural substances that, if given in stronger doses to a healthy person, would produce the symptoms for which the medicine is prescribed. In your assessment, homeopaths will take into account the range of physical, emotional, and lifestyle factors in order to prescribe the right medicine(s).
What is applied kinesiology?
Applied kinesiology is also called “muscle testing” and has been in practice since Dr. George Goodheart, DC developed this technique in 1964. It unites various disciplines, including traditional Chinese medicine relative to meridian energy as well as chi, reflexology, and some chiropractic techniques. It is a hands-on approach that helps us determine imbalances in energy of certain muscles, which reflects the flow of chi energy through corresponding meridians. By measuring muscle resistance, one can determine the health of bodily organs and nutritional deficiencies as well as emotional, structural, electrical and reactive imbalances.
How much does an initial consultation cost?
Please contact me about my current initial consult fee.
How much are follow-up visits and how often should I expect to need an appointment?
After the initial consult, we may schedule a follow-up after at least one month to 6 weeks. This is to allow time for dietary changes to take place and a regular schedule of nutritional supplementation to become effective. It takes the body a period of time to adjust to such changes and for those adjustments to produce changes that can be evaluated. Of course, if a client wishes to come back for a follow-up sooner, this is possible, but we will discuss the need to allow for time for changes to be noticeable either by the client or detected by our procedures.
Please contact me for current fee for initial and follow-up office visit. During that follow-up visit, we will compare information we obtain from the individual and his/her body to that which we gathered at the first visit. Sometimes we change dosing schedules or supplements at this time, or at least determine for how much longer the current schedule will be followed. We often work with the emotional system again at this time for additional clearing benefits, which will reinforce and enable more rapid healing results in other systems.
I do not understand what is meant by "clinically designed nutrition."
This is an individualized approach to creating a program of diet, supplements, and lifestyle that supports improved health and optimized energy. Through the identification of foods that either contribute to or detract from each client’s personal health goals, we can combine dietary changes with phytonutrient formulations that best meet those needs. Scientific research continues to demonstrate that substances in whole living foods help maintain and defend the body against damage from free radicals and provide essential building blocks for rebuilding and rejuvenating the body.
What can I expect from an initial consultation with Synergetics Health & Wellness?
At our first meeting, we will be doing a fairly in depth analysis of your historical health picture, including your medical history and diagnoses, lab work, physical symptoms, emotional issues, relationship health, medications, and supplements you may be currently using, and discussing your major goals for improvement in your health (physical, mental, and emotional).
You will also be “analyzed” by a full body work-up which includes working through applied kinesiology and sclerology to determine energetic imbalances in the electrical, emotional, nutritional, and structural systems of the body, as well as areas of imbalance that may be allergic, chemical, toxic, degenerative, immune system-, or infection-based.
Once we have made these determinations, we will apply energetic healing modalities to balance energy or release roadblocks, as well as design a clinical program of nutritional changes and support supplements to heal, regenerate, detoxify, or stimulate areas of imbalance within the body. We may work with homeopathic remedies, as well to help achieve energy balance within the entire system of each client (including physical, emotional and mental spheres). This usually involves the lowering of excess energy (often manifesting as inflammation), and raising depressed energy levels (often manifesting as fatigue) through the use of specific remedies which match these symptoms, much as a key fits a lock.
Finally, each client will leave with a program of specific supplementation, including dosages and frequencies as well as an overall period of time for their use. Clients are often also given “homework” or specific energetic exercises to support and maintain the corrections that have been done in the office.
What do you mean by "emotional clearing and energy psychology?"
Since all emotions and limiting beliefs arise from disturbances in the body’s subtle energy system, Energy Psychology Techniques can be used to alleviate a whole range of problems including: stress, anxiety, depression, addiction, phobias, rejection, anger, guilt, financial stress, relationship stress, as well as many every day physical ailments such as aches and pains, sore throats, IBS, muscle tension, headaches, food reactions, and allergies.
As limiting beliefs can also arise from energy disturbances, we can apply these techniques for personal development and for peak performance. For example: building confidence, public speaking, accelerated learning, better concentration, increasing performance in sports or work.
What does "Synergetics" mean?
Synergetics is a term I coined many years ago intended to suggest a coalition of therapies and tools that when used in combination have a more beneficial outcome than any one of the techniques used individually. The various tools that we use include applied kinesiology, homeopathy, clinically designed nutrition, contact reflex analysis, emotional clearing/energy psychology, salivary and blood spot testing, body reflexology, sclerology, and many more.
What is Contact Reflex Analysis?
Contact Reflex Analysis is a simple, safe, natural method of analyzing the body’s structural, physical, and nutritional needs. A deficiency in any of these areas could cause or contribute to various acute or chronic health problems. It is a method by which we used the body’s reflex points to accurately determine the root cause of a health problem or the roadblocks preventing healing. CRA can even uncover deficiencies at a sub-clinical level when an imbalance is so small that a person may not be aware of it and many modern methods of testing cannot detect it.
